Prospects America™

Prospects America™ was founded by owner/president Mike Sherman. He established Prospects America™ because of his passion for athletics and wanted to find a way to help high school student-athletes play the sport of their passion collegiately.

Below is an overview of  Prospects America™ and the philosophy we employ:

Prospects America™ IS:

1. Clean, simple, and easy to navigate.

2. An outlet for ALL student-athletes interested in gaining exposure, regardless of talent, ranking, or rating.

3. Secure. All sensitive information is unavailable to the public - only coaches that register have access to contact information provided.

4. Built with the ability to customize for a multitude of athletes and organizations. We have the ability to expand, show flexibility, and adapt to different needs.

5. A hub for all relative information including full-game video, highlights, performance-testing video, athletic statistics/awards/achievements, academic awards/achievements, high school schedule links, AAU/club team links, photo, coach comments, and contact information for parents and coaches.

6. Interested in continual improvement of athletes and building partnerships with training facilities to work with and train student-athletes.

7. Cost-effective. Parents pay hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars in order to get as much exposure as possible for their son or daughter. Parents can buy one of our profile packages for their son or daughter at a very reasonable price. All the time, money, and energy spent gathering information for each coach they speak to is all wrapped up in a package that is cost-effective and convenient.

Prospects America™ IS NOT:

1. Limited in the sports it can offer. We currently provide student-athlete profiles for football, baseball, girls and boys soccer, and girls and boys basketball. Our goal is to provide student-athlete profile capabilities for every sport.

2. Division specific. Divisions I, II, III, NAIA, and JUCO programs all have equal chances of searching our database of athletes. We fully understand that there are plenty of small schools out there searching for the perfect athlete for their program and we hope they utilize Prospects America™ to find their next collegiate student-athlete.

3. A recruiting service. We do not charge schools to use www.prospectsamerica.com because we’re not finding athletes for them. We are an information hub for student-athletes across the country to promote themselves to coaches that search our site for the student-athletes they are interested in.

4. Concerned with rankings or ratings. Prospects America™ does not show preferential treatment of one athlete over another. Other sites pride themselves on showcasing the best athletes. Our site simply tries to provide all the critical academic and athletic information for each student-athlete and let the collegiate programs filter based on their own criteria. We’re concerned with giving ALL student-athletes the chance to further the dreams they have of continuing their education while playing the sport they love in college.
